Plane Stupid: A network of grassroots groups that take non violent direct action against aviation expansion.

Transition Heathrow: A grassroots action group working to build resilient Heathrow communities, capable of collectively coping with the injustices and threats of the economic, ecological and democratic crises.

AirportWatch: An umbrella movement opposing any expansion of aviation and airports.

Richmond Heathrow Campaign: Three amenity groups in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames: The Richmond Society, The Friends of Richmond Green, and the Kew Society. have over 2000 members. They have submitted fifteen papers totaling 185 pages of evidence.

Airport Environment Federation: is the principal UK NGO campaigning exclusively on the environmental impacts of aviation and promoting a sustainable future for the sector. AEF was formed as a federation in 1975 at a time when the sector was beginning to grow rapidly and noise was becoming an issue around airfields and airports. As aviation is exempt from noise nuisance legislation they seek to influence the national policy level.
